A modern single storey new build, featuring a zinc clad flat roof intersection between two vaulted ceiling spaces. The client has chosen our Passive Plus package, constructed using 184 x 38mm CLS timbers with 180mm PIR within the stud and 80mm to the face eliminating cold bridging. This package achieves an impressive u-value of just 0.09 w/m2k where Passive Standard is between 0.11 – 0.15 w/m2k (the lower the better!). The client has also chosen KORE’s insulated foundation system, external boarding and battens rather than blockwork and our complete roof covering package (Tegral Thrutone Endurance Textured). Following completion of first fix works, our installers will return to fit acoustic insulation to the internal walls, 12.5mm plasterboard to internal walls and 15mm to all exernal walls as per current Building Regulations.
